Nlp Anchors: When Disgust Is Useful

First, a question. What is NLP training? NLP is the acronym for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Basically it is a method by which neurological processes (Neuro) and language (Linguistic) go hand in hand to bring about a positive change (Programming) in a person’s behavior. NLP was first introduced in the 70s, co founded by John Grinder a linguist and Richard Bandler a self help trainer and author.

I am a practitioner of NLP Certification Courses (NLP) and a big fan of modelling. Modelling is where you learn from watching and then emulating other people. Our kids do this all the time – it’s how they learn.

Your business performance will correlate with your motivation. It is common knowledge that employee motivation has a direct bearing on the performance of a business. Well – the same is true for you as the leader and manager of your own business. If you don’t generate the huge motivation, drive and desire to achieve your goals, it will be a tough journey. So – are you motivated? Are you clear on why you must push through those tough times? What is your motivation? Why are you committed to making this business a success?

If you are like millions of others, then retaining a high level of motivation can be a genuine challenge. What is hardly ever an issue is having what feels like authentic desire and then getting started. What tends to crush numerous good intentions is sustaining the effort. We feel that you could improve your motivation when you stop and really think about the reason why you want to lose weight. Goals and objectives have a way of clarifying and making tangible those things you think you must possess. Goals work to make real all those ambitions and desires resident in your mind. The vast majority of men and women do have dreams no matter what they are doing in life. Before you are able to build any sort of road map, you need a goal in mind to accomplish this. It is rather hard to understand how to get somewhere if you don’t know where you want to go. There is actually an entirely deep game linked to losing weight, and recognizing it is the route to freedom.

Here’s a little story about how I tried this out on my son Elliot. Elliot had taken his laptop round to his mates for a New Years Eve party (yep really!). The laptop got broken (wow) because someone stood on it – but that person didn’t own up. The insurance agreed a replacement but Elliot was incandescent with rage that one of his mates could break something and not come clean.

Ultimately you can expect to arrive at a point where even your goals may feel less powerful. Hence for those times, if practical you could plan for it by seeking others to support you in some additional way. In the event that isn’t feasible, then plan for it anyway and just decide to go out and do anything positive.
