2010 was a larger then life year for the DJ/Production trio Swedish House Mafia. Catapulting themselves into the worlds view while obtaining some huge accomplishments.
I didn’t even talk about track workouts, tempo runs, and fartlek training, the three most traditional ways to increase speed. My goal here was to youtube views provide some not-so-traditional suggestions.
Press Releases – Press Releases are a great way to let the world know about your business. Done right, you can get a large amount of visibility in a very short amount of time. I would strongly recommend hiring a professional writer (American writer if you’re in the US) that has extensive experience doing this sort of thing. It’s a real art and you have to convey a compelling message with minimal writing. Partner with a company that can not only write your release but also has a broad network of news sites, newspapers, publications as well as TV and radio stations. There are options out there where you can get all this done for under $200.
This situation may be an exception to the advise about not mixing your personal life with business. That is because there is no high pressure, and it can almost be viewed as a type of lucrative hobby. Consider doing this with your spouse to see if you can make it work.
Drills. There are many different kinds of running drills, however. Every running coach has their favorites. Go to buy youtube subscribers and enter “running drills” or “drills for runners.” Don’t just accept anything you see; look for drills demonstrated and recommended by well known, credentialed coaches.
I have two objections to this line of thinking. First, it excuses poor behavior on the part of an individual representing the Jedi (Religion or otherwise). It was laughed off, sure. But no one attempted to explain or write-off the inicdent. This cannot be excused or allowed, we must take such things seriously. Why, brings us to the second point – You never know who someone is asking questions. A reporter, a concerned parent? The Jedi Path has a hard enough up-hill battle without incidents like these making it worse.
While setting up your YouTube channel will require strategic planning and a little extra work on your end, it will be well worth it in the end when your video content takes off and you see the success first hand.
